10.00am Paints, brushes and equipment. KNOW YOUR EQUIPMENT. A complete overview, explanation and comparison of products. Every artist has their own space with professional easel, painting table and hi stool. ALL YOUR PROFESSIONAL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED.

Caroline or Cat cshows you how to prepare your canvas and demonstrates techniques. Caroline or Cat start at the beginning with palettes, painting knives, painting brushes etc and shows you how to prepare your canvas for painting. You paint along with Caroline or Catand learn how to; compose your painting, create a focal point, balance/mix colour etc. The first session is brush marks and blending

1.0-1.30PM Lunch break

1.30pm 2nd session - we move onto colour - with your own still life..

3.0pm We talk about what you want to paint tomorrow and prepare your canvas for tomorrow's painting.

3.30pm Day Ends

This weekend course is an Introduction to Oil Painting and we cover all the basics to compose harmonious art works.
